Mr. and Mrs. Christian Cornelius

Congrats to Matt's cousin and his new wife! Jenny and Christian got married last Saturday at Carnton Plantation. We were so happy that the rain stopped just in time for their wedding (which was outside!) We had a lot of fun with the Wests and are excited for the newlyweds!

American Idol

I really love watching Idol and think they have such steller talent this year! My favorite is Kris Allen. He is adorable and has such a great voice! He seems like a really nice guy & very grateful for all the love & support he has gotten. Hope he makes it to the end!!!

Lindsay's Shower

I had a great weekend in Birmingham for Lindsay's monogram shower. It was the end of our celebration on the fab 4 getting married! (Aubrey, Elizabeth, Dana and Lindsay). I LOVED getting to see all my old friends! It was such a blessing to see them and to see Samford, too! Here are a few pics from the shower. Of course we went to Brio (my fav!) and it was so good!

Easter

We had a great Easter. It started off by opening our lovely baskets we had done for each other. Then, we went to church & the service was great! We went in the new Hudson Hall at BBC and they had a contemporary music service and then Mike's message was great-- not pushy, but to the point for the Cheasters (Christmas+Easter attendants). Then, we exchanged gifts with Steve and Suz and went onto Gran and Papa's for lunch. My favorite part of Easter was our new 2009 edition of our Easter Egg Hunt!!! Pops & Gran hid the eggs all through their yard & the 5 of us (Mom, Dad, D, Mattie and Me) were on a mission to find the ones with money! Yours truly got the $20 egg (the prize) & 3 $1 coins as well= woohoo!! It was tons of fun and we can't wait for next year!
