2 Weeks Left, Evie!!

Saturday night we celebrated with Eve and Jefferson at their "honey-do" shower. It was wonderful to see the Monroe's that came in from Chattanooga. Can't wait for the big day in only 2 more weeks!

Life of a Bachelorette

Mattie went to his annual meeting in Wisconsin Saturday- Tuesday night so I was on my own. I missed him a lot, but had a wonderful time with all my friends. We celebrated Eve's Lingerie Shower on Saturday night and Kerra, Cassady, and I went to see Sex and The City-- I loved it! Here are some pics from the weekend.

HaPpY AnNiVeRsArY!

Mattie and I had a wonderful first anniversary-- so hard to believe that it has been a year! We went to dinner at Park Cafe (my new fav!) & ate our cake from last year that my mom so nicely packed for us. It actually was really good! For our anniversary, Mattie gave me a beautiful cross necklace (shown above!). I am so thankful for Mattie & can't imagine being married to anyone else. TO MANY MORE!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a wonderful 4th and 5th of July spent with family. On the 4th, Matt and I went to Gran and Papa's for a cookout where Linley, Kathy and Josh were in town from Memphis. We watched the fireworks in the back yard & they were wonderful! Then, Saturday for breakfast we met Chris and Liz at Puffy Muffin for breakfast. Saturday night we celebrated with The Wests and William and Susan were in town from Athens. Granny and PawPaw came as well. A good time had by ALL!

Stationery Home Show!!

Courtenay is kind enough to host a stationery show at her house for me on July 16th! I am really looking forward to it! I would love for you to come! We will be there from 6-8:30! Hope to see you there!

Update on Mattie

Hey Friends,
It has been a while since I have written, but wanted to let you know that we went back to the DR. today for a checkup. We haven't been for the past month. Matt & I just got back from a wonderful vacation to Mazatlan, Mexico for the last week in June. We had the best time. You can visit our blog for pictures: http://mattandaub.blogspot.com
Today we met with Matt's new Dr.-- Dr. Seth Cooper who he has switched to due to Dr. Cohen's retirement. We both really liked Dr. Cooper. We got a GREAT report!! His white blood cell count, platelet count, and red blood cell counts were all normal!! They are stable, which is such great news. ALSO, last time we went (6-3) they took blood in order to check the level of Philadelphia Chromosome cells in his body. When he was diagnosed P.C. cells were evident in 99% of his blood cells, in May they made up 26%, and from the last visit, only 7%!!!!!!!!! We were very excited to hear this news! They drew blood for another test and we will get those results his next visit (7-31).
Thank you for your continued support and for the prayers that we know are being answered. We appreciate your love more than you know!
Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July & are able to be with family and friends.

We love you all,
Aubrey and Matt

More Pictures!

Mazatlan, Mexico

YES!! Our wonderful vacation was made possible by Aunt Llew who graciously offered for us to use her time share in Mazatlan, Mexico for the last week of June. We had the best time! It was so nice to get away, not have to work, and just be together. We layed by the pool & relaxed during the day. At night we enjoyed the Mexican food, watching the sunset & Mattie enjoyed the Cuban cigars. We had beautiful weather every day-- no rain which we were thankful for! One day we traveled to Stone Island- a small peninsula near Mazatlan. There we rode on a banana boat in the Pacific (where I fell into the ocean and got a black eye-- sad!), and went horseback riding on the beach. It was a lot of fun. IT was such a fun trip!!!
