Christmas!

What a wonderful Christmas we had! It is hard to believe it is over, but we are grateful for a new year full of new blessings to come! We had a wonderful Christmas season and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. I was soo excited about the White Christmas and it was Nashville's first since 1993. More pics to come, but here are a few!

December

We have had a great December so far! We enjoyed a Preds game & yummy dinner at Mama Mia's with Leah and Luke, time with friends and this past weekend we went to Chattanooga to see Chris and Liz! It was a blast! Chris got a job there working for a law firm and Lizzy is a 5th grade teacher at Nolan elementary. They are really liking Chattanooga and it was so fun to be in their world for a few days! We are so thankful for them. Hope you are all having a wonderful December so far full of family, friends and festivities! Much LOVE!

Mrs. Crafty

I used to be so crafty. I was all into scrapbooking, collages, and anything that could use my creative outlet. I hope I start over when we have kids, because I miss doing all that stuff. I found this page in a magazine and wanted to try to re-create it! I thought you might want to do the same. Thanks to Cass for helping me make it look so pretty!!

New Friends

One of the things we are most grateful for is our new Sunday school class. We have met some awesome couples who love each other and the Lord and it has really been such a blessing to us. We had a get together a few weeks ago and it was so much fun. We are hosting the Christmas party in a few weeks at our house and are really excited about that.

This is such a special week, a time to reflect on the past year and to be grateful for the year to come. I am constantly amazed and humbled by the many blessings in life. Even when I can't understand exactly what is going on in day to day life, I trust there is a God who is much greater than I could ever understand. "Give THANKS to the Lord, his LOVE endures forever!!!"

My FAVORITE time of the year is coming! I am sooo excited! I wish that it was Christmas all year round! I love Thanksgiving too and I am so thankful for a few days off next week. Work has been crazy and I am needing a vacation!
As for Christmas gifts, Mattie and I are giving each other a new computer for Christmas which is great! I am so excited! After the new year hopefully I will have a bunch of cool new tricks with my computer!

We had a great time with my friend Melissa who took our pictures a few weeks ago. We gave it to my parents for their 30th wedding anniversary :)
